The Roots of our Practice
Food is a universal language–growing it as a form of resistance is our ancestral legacy, and our main tool for collective liberation. We envision a metamorphosis of the food system where people are empowered participants of their food system, the soil is thriving, and no-waste practices are abundant.
Food Sovereignty
Creating programs (or supporting existing efforts) that empower individuals to control and participate in their own food systems. This is done through the cultivation of culturally relevant crops & flowers, as well as programming that reflects the ancestral diets of the communities we serve.
Arts and Education
Building an inclusive space where arts and education intersect, offering accessible opportunities and knowledge shares within our different areas of expertise: land stewardship, film, design, multimedia arts, with hopes to offer artist residencies and retreats in the future.
Community Care
Providing access to essential resources, support systems, and opportunities to new and emerging QTBIPOC farmers & artists, regardless of financial status.
